This week the Art With Heart Team are looking at the colour Smoky Slate. Smoky Slate is one of the neutral colours and is such a versatile colour that it really can go with many combinations.
The colour combination I used actually uses one of our new Incolours - Rococo Rose. This colour goes so well together with Powder Pink and Smoky Slate. Such a shame that Powder Pink and Rococo Rose will not be current at the same time.
The card base is made with Rococo Rose layered with Powder Pink and then layered with the Smoky Slate. The Smoky Slate is embossed with the Tufted Embossing Folder for that touch of elegance.
A small strip of the "Share What You Love" DSP across the centre helps lift the focal point of the card. The sentiment, "Thinking of You" and the beautiful bouquet come from the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set. The bouquet was coloured with Stampin' Blends and die cut with the Wonderful Floral Dies. These are mounted on a piece of Whisper White, die cut with the Stitched Rectangles, and matted with the Powder Pink.
A perfect card for Mother's Day!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my projects. I hope that you will check out the other Smoky Slate creations from my Art With Heart Team Members. Click here to go to Catherine's Blog who has all the links to the rest of the team.
If you would like to purchase any of the items that I have used (only items used in the colour creation project are listed), click on the item below and it will take you straight to my online shop. Please note, Rococo Rose is not available until the launch of the new Annual Catalogue on the 4th June 2019 (or 2nd May if you are a demonstrator). Demonstrators that attended Onstage were able to order it extra early.
If you live in Australia, I would love to be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator and help you on your Stampin' Up! creative journey. Click the contact me button above and let me know. Even better, join the "Haven Stampers" and become part of my team - it's a whole heap of fun - you do have to live in Australia, but we do a lot online! Ask me how today!
