Bright Wishes Step Up Card

Still playing with new product, I decided to make another different fun fold card.  This time I used the wishing well from the Bright Wishes Stamp Set that is coming in the new catalogue available from the 1st June 2017.

The Step Up fold card is great for showcasing a specific item, or just giving some real dimension to your card.  They are also very easy to make but look very effective.

The wishing well itself is water coloured using the Aqua painter and various ink pads. I used the watercolour cardstock and got a much deeper watercolour effect than just the shimmery white.   The well is then fussy cut out and popped up on dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set, but I used the new Pretty labels Punch and the Labels Me Pretty Stamp Set for around the sentiment.  It works perfectly on this type of card.

Below are the templates for making this card - both metric and imperial (inches)

Card Base - Cut a piece measuring 11" x 4-1/4"
The two cut lines are 1" from the edge and are cut from 1" in up to the 6-1/2" mark
Score at 1", 2" and 6-1/2" only up to cut lines.
Score between cut lines at 5-1/2"
Fold along score lines to get the shape desired.

Card Base - Cut a piece measuring 28cm x 10.8cm
The two cut lines are 2.5cm from the edge and are cut from 2.5cm in up to the 16.5cm mark
Score at 2.5cm, 5cm and 16.5cm only up to cut lines.
Score between cut lines at 14cm
Fold along score lines to get the shape desired.
